April 2016 All enrolled MFP participants will now be checked for history of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation by IDOA's BEAM Unit staff. The check must be completed before the case can move into the Transition stage.
February 2016 Agencies who transition MFP participants enrolled with an Managed Care Organization (MCO) as of 8/27/2015 and conduct minimum required monthly follow-up visits will be eligible to receive incentive payments when those participants remain in the community for 3 consecutive months and 12 consecutive months.
6/25/2015 Remember that participants with Acquired Brain Injury or HIV/AIDS can be served under MFP DRS.

11/25/2013 HFS has developed three new DME forms to better identify to providers the information required by the department for review of prior approval requests. 9/12/2013 Please see this provider notice released by HFS today that details policy changes made by recent legislation (PA 098-0104, amended the SMART act) to require prior authorizations for wheelchair repairs only when they exceed $400.  Additional detail regarding effective dates of service is included in the document.  Please feel free to forward to staff that may benefit from this information.
